In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories has got to be the first time i heard Paul Simon's Graceland. My dad use to play that record a lot when i was growing up. I remember being enamoured by the Bass playing of Bakithi Kumalo, who heavily influenced me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver, Bon Iver Paul Simon, Graceland (25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) Specifically the 25th addition of this album has a version of diamonds on the soles of her shoes with just Bass from Bakithi Kumalo, percussion and vocals. its incredible. Tell us why you chose this song. “Something In the Water” This record i made in a little airbnb in the hills in beachwood canyon. I remember making it while in such a unsettling time in my life but there is something about the record sonically i keep going back too. i wouldn't change a thing about it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? as a musician, i've played for numerous artists around the world. Playing Wembley stadium or Playing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with a different artist, but most likely its the time i spent in the studio with friends making exciting music Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? bucket list would have to be playing on a late night show with my own records, or hearing my music in a film!
