In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my first contact with the piano at the age of 4. At that time I’ve got fascinated about finding two notes which ‘fit‘ together and create harmony. I guess that was the groundwork for my wish to learn the piano. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, 22, A Million Jon Hopkins, Immunity (Special Edition) Mouse On Mars, Dimensional People 1. So rich in unique sounds and technics. 2. A full trip through so many genres, musical places and sounds. 3. Definitely my favourite album to travel with. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Darkside of the Hill” I’ve loved the process lùisa and I wrote the song together. We met for the first time, never spoke before about any musical direction and she delivered the perfect match in vocals and lyrics. It really felt we’re speaking the same musical language. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As a Hamburger, one of my highlights was to play the Elbphilharmonie, the new classical hall in my hometown in 2021. It felt like a surreal moment, returning to your hometown for this concert, while having so many childhood memories of that place. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to discover and tour new places with my music. A dream would be to tour in Japan and the US at some point.
