In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember growing up listening to a lot of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Hot Boyz and the Big Tymerz. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana it was a given but I moved to Boston at 7 and my cousin introduced me to DMX and other hip hop/R&B artist. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carl Thomas, Emotional Lil Wayne, Tha Carter II USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) I think Usher confessions is a classic, Lil Wayne Carter 2 is one of my favorites, and Carl Thomas Emotional. My musical taste is all over the place and I prefer melodic rap & R&B. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Japan” I love this song because it was the song that I made where I really started to develop a sound that I really like. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far it might’ve been something as simple as all of the love and support I received from peers after getting over self doubt. Once I found a sound and got that love I knew I could this. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? After financial problems and having to put music on hold I want to take over the music scene in Dallas. Then I want to go back to Roxbury and New Orleans and show that I’ma product of both places and can’t forget where I came from. Growth.
