In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories of music was with my dad and sisters. He put on Lucinda Williams, and we all started singing along to Concrete & Barbed Wire. Next, he put on Alanis Morissette and we rocked out to her album 'Jagged Little Pill.' What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gillian Welch, The Harrow & The Harvest Jack Ingram, Jon Randall, Miranda Lambert, The Marfa Tapes Jamey Johnson, That Lonesome Song The Harrow & The Harvest has simple yet deep instrumentation and the lyrics are gorgeous. That Lonesome Song: The lyrics are genuine and you feel like you are in the studio. The Marfa Tapes: Miranda writes incredible and powerful stripped down songs. I played it in Seattle and asked if anyone had gone fishing that day. One man had caught 3 salmon earlier. When we started playing, you could see him go back to earlier that morning. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Steve Earle was an unforgettable experience. The honor of sharing the stage with such a music legend created a moment that left me both humbled and inspired. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Almost everything is still left on my bucket list. Feels as though things are just beginning!
