In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 10 years old, listening to Supertramp - Breakfast in America on my record player over and over again. That continued with ASIA's debut album, Rush - Moving Pictures and more! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Asia, Asia U.K., Danger Money Yes, 90125 It was in the early 80’s when progressive rock bands like Yes and ELP migrated over from prog to AOR. These albums, especially ASIA’s debut album, introduced me to progressive rock and the players in it; as well as newer bands like Huis and Mystery. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fly” FLY pays homage to AOR/Prog rock music of the 80’s, written and arranged to sound like music from that era. Originally written in the 80’s, recorded between 2020-2022 with the focus of creating an 80’s AOR rock track in both sound and style. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my song on the radio for the first time, that was pretty amazing. Doing interviews, published in newspapers and blogs, and getting asked to autograph my CD… all very surreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d like to do a full album, get better and mixing and mastering. Perhaps even do a cover of one of my favorite songs. We’ll see…
