RKM & Ken-Y is a Puerto Rican reggaetón duo who helped popularize the genre around the world in the 2000s. ∙ The pair have had multiple singles crack the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, including “Down,” which reached No. 1 in 2006. ∙ Their first album, 2006’s Masterpiece: Nuestra Obra Maestra, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart and at No. 2 on the Top Latin Albums chart. ∙ RKM & Ken-Y won Reggaetón Song of the Year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2007 (“Down”) and 2008 (“Igual Que Ayer”). ∙ The Royalty / La Realeza, a 2008 collection of genre-blending Latin pop, was nominated for a Best Latin Urban Album Grammy Award. ∙ They have collaborated with bachata star Toby Love (2006’s double-Platinum “Tengo un Amor”) and reggaetón superstars Daddy Yankee & Arcángel (2018’s “Zum Zum”).
