The duo Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard features Bailey—a clothing designer, graphic artist, and bodybuilder—rapping over motivational workout tracks laid down by producer Charlie Hustle. ∙ The pair broke through with a video for their 2012 song “Work Hustle Kill,” featuring Dana Linn Bailey, an award-winning fitness and figure competitor who is also Rob’s wife. ∙ Produced by DJ Khalil, the Southpaw Remix of their 2013 track “Beast” features guest spots by Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne, and KXNG Crooked. ∙ Released in 2015, Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard’s debut LP, Go, reached No. 40 on the Billboard 200 and No. 5 on the iTunes Store’s top albums sales chart. ∙ All of the duo’s music has been released on Hustle Standard, a label that Bailey runs along with his other entrepreneurial ventures, including a clothing line and a nutritional supplements company.
