Rolf Verbeek

Rolf Verbeek is one of the Netherlands' most promising conductors of his generation, with a major conducting grant among his credits. After finishing his schooling, Verbeek fielded various offers from Dutch performance ensembles, including the Camerata RCO, a chamber orchestra offshoot of the renowned Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra. In 2021, Verbeek joined the Equilibrium Young Artists Program and assisted its founder, Barbara Hannigan, on projects with various orchestras both within and outside the Netherlands. In 2022, Verbeek's arrangement of Mahler's Symphony No. 4 was featured on the Camerata RCO album Sehnsucht, which also included performances by Hannigan and baritone Raoul Steffani.
