Russ Long

Nashville-based engineer/producer Russ Long's resume lists Rich Mullins, Sixpence None the Richer, Carolyn Arends, One, and Relient K. Born in Boulder, CO, Long moved to Nashville in 1986 to attend Belmont University's music business program. After graduation, Long began doing projects for producers Rick Lawler and Scott Hendricks. In 1993, he started working with producer Steve Taylor whose credits include Sixpence None the Richer. Long toured with Taylor and his band Chagall Guevera. Long and Taylor opened a recording studio together called The White House and worked on sides by Newsboys and Leigh Nash. ~ Ed Hogan
