About Salome Jicia

Soprano Salome Jicia has succeeded across Europe and in Britain, singing core Italian repertory. Jicia performed widely in Georgia, giving the national premieres of Messiaen's Harawi and Schoenberg's Six Orchestral Songs, Op. 8. Jicia worked with Michele Mariotti on several operas, including a major 2016 production of Rossini's La donna del lago at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Italy. Jicia made her recording debut in 2022 as Bianca of Bellini's rarely heard Bianca e Fernando. She returned the following year as Suzel in Mascagni's L'amico Fritz, with Riccardo Frizza conducting the Chorus and Orchestra of the Fiorentino Maggio Musicale.
