SG Tip

Rapper SG Tip, aka Young Tip, swiftly attained significant clout as a teenager. Representing Atlanta, Georgia's East Atlanta neighborhood, Tip fell in with Slaughter Gang as a youngster and remained connected after a period spent in juvenile detention. Once out, Tip toured with 21 Savage and shortly thereafter developed material -- including tracks produced by Pi'erre Bourne -- that led to the 2017 release of his debut, NWA: N***a with Ambition. In 2018, he followed up with "No Brain" (produced by Metro Boomin), "Red Redemption" (featuring Young Thug), and the mixtape Block Boy Tip, highlighted by "Push Up" (with Smokepurpp and Yung Bans). ~ Andy Kellman
