Sheila On 7’s remarkable legacy is a vast songbook of diverse musicality. Formed in 1996, the Yogyakarta-based band boasts one of Indonesia’s best-selling albums of all time—2000’s Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan. But the band’s skilfulness in forming simple, catchy melodies and memorable hooks with big choruses has continued to sway their listeners and set emotions alight through the intervening decades.
