In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to A.R Rahman and watching MTV all day long hoping to become a star like MJ was my all time dream. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bling It Back (Kohinoor)” Reminds me the power of music, the ability to talk about the unspoken and to bring awareness through story telling is the best part of music and this song does just that. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at the Wembley Arena in 2011 just before I decided to move base to LA from Chennai, was emotionally exhilarating! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would love to perform in Africa specifically South Africa and explore the culture there. There is such a huge Indian population there and I would also like to meet my African brothers and sisters.
