In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was very young when listening to music for me was to be able to travel without leaving home and to be able to see the artists on a kind of stage singing in my mind. My first interest was how to do all this, so many questions. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (Bonus Track Version) Sean Paul, The Trinity Various Artists, Don Corleon Presents - Changes Riddim My greatest inspirations have come from these pieces that mean a lot to me. Albums with which I grew up, a mixture of feelings such as overcoming fear and following a single goal until I see it fulfilled. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hewe” This song is one of my favorites because to a certain extent I talk about real experiences of my past where I went through very hard processes. I had to grow up under traumas and fears that in the end made me stronger. Sung in my Garifuna language What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Have the support of my Garifuna community and other people who love music outside my culture but connected in the same feeling and energy. To see my growth, to have left my native country through my talent has been a blessing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like the world to know my culture through art, to help my community and whoever needs it and to be able to travel around the world sharing good music and collaborating with artists that I admire.
