In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started playing the drums when I was 8 on a tiny drum kit my little brother was given for Christmas one year. I have been obsessed with music ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Four Tet, New Energy Loukeman, Sd-2 Vegyn, The Road to Hell Is Paved with Good Intentions These albums have been a huge inspiration to me. They really push the boundaries of experimental electronic music and explore a wide variety of genres and dynamics. Tell us why you chose this song. “Passerby” The track features dynamic contrasting elements of breaks, warm tape piano samples, and brain dance production. A lot of my recent creative inspiration comes from going on long runs through bushland with my large long haired sausage dog named Harley.
