In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It's got to be going to folk music festivals with my parents way back when as a kid. They love that stuff! To be honest it's a far cry from the music that inspires me now and from the music I create but it's definitely played a part in my journey. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? KAYTRANADA, 99.9% Loyle Carner, Not Waving, But Drowning Tom Misch, Geography This is the most horrible question as I love so many artists! Geography really introduced me to a new type of way of feeling about music in the melodic/production context. NWBD is all about Loyle's lyricism and 99.9% is a production masterpiece! Tell us why you chose this song. “Often” First song I've made under my new alias TWIN WILLIAM that really defines the style and direction I want to take this project moving forward! For this track specifically, it's all about the main sample I chopped up on my Digitakt that gets me going!!! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Under my previous alias it would probably be receiving BBC Introducing attention from my local area that allowed me to play at Beyond The Woods festival which has hosted artists such as Holly Humberstone, Fickle Friends and Boy Azooga. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? This is just the beginning for me as TWIN WILLIAM so let's keep writing new chapters and watch the story unfold!
