About Willy Kay

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was 2002 I was sittin in the passenger seat of my dad's 1998 Chevrolet 1500. We we're cruisin down a backroad eatin Peter Pan Peanut Butter by the spoonful. I remember hearing Young by Kenny Chesney for the first time on the radio. Special Moment. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AC/DC, Back In Black Jelly Roll, A Beautiful Disaster Lil Baby, Lil Durk, The Voice of the Heroes Paw Paw loved AC/DC so naturally I did too. As a rebellious young man, I would take my aunts rap cd's and listen to them on my CD Player. Jelly Roll is one of my Biggest Inspirations. The Voice of the Heroes album Simply speaks to me on a deep level. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “See My Pain” Originally, I wrote See My Pain on the wall in Ad Seg while I was incarcerated. I had a pencil but no paper. It's special to me because it was the first song I recorded on my iPhone days after getting out. Listen and "See My Pain". -Willy Kay
