John Murphy Essentials

John Murphy Essentials

English composer John Murphy spent much of the ‘80s playing in a series of cult New Wave bands. In the early ‘90s, he began scoring independent projects and short films, eventually catching the ear of director Guy Ritchie, who tapped Murphy for his break-out comedy Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. This opportunity led to others for the adaptable, genre-bending artist. In addition to ongoing collaborations with Ritchie and fellow Brit Danny Boyle, the composer has been courted by Hollywood filmmakers like Michael Mann, Matthew Vaughn, and more.
