Chicano Batman: Influences

Full of stylistic juxtapositions, Chicano Batman’s music always reflects a wide array of tastes. While their songs’ Anglophilic tendencies may be rooted in the art-rock manoeuvres of Stereolab and Radiohead, their funkiness demonstrates their love for vanguard hip-hop and electronic music. And as befits the band’s cheeky name, a reverence for Latin mavericks like Rubén Blades and Café Tacvba shines through, too.
