Singer/songwriter Julieta Venegas was born in California and raised in Tijuana, and her music takes influences from both American and Mexican culture when she’s fusing folk, rock and pop in her unique style. She’s a musical multi-tasker, playing a variety of instruments including the guitar, keyboard and accordion, and her sweet but haunting voice often delivers hard-hitting lyrics. With albums like 2003’s Si, 2006’s Limón y Sal and 2013’s Los Momentos, Venegas has won fans, opened doors for other female artists and won a variety of Latin Grammy Awards.
