Barcelona-born José María Sanz Beltrán, better known as Loquillo, has been proudly waving the flag for rock 'n' roll since the early '80s. With his band Los Trogloditas, Loquillo patented an immediately recognisable second-wave rockabilly style—all fast-picked guitars, pogo-stick percussion, wily harmonica solos and, of course, his scrappy, shout-along vocals. The band also add a healthy dash of snarling punk attitude, supercharging a vintage sound that's won a new generation of Spanish rock fans.
