Accordingly, a classic low-slung swagger pervades “Sigo Esperando Que Vuelvas” and “No Me Arrepiento”—all laidback boom-bap beats and flow—while “La Que Decía Que No” channels the G-funk era of big bass and precision sampling. Throw in a splash of contemporary trap on “Modo Bestia” and even a mariachi number (“El Rey”) that nods to the Mexican MC’s roots, and there’s enough to intrigue the deepest of heads.
