GCSE Maths education is "currently failing a third of students", our UK exam board OCR warns in a new report. OCR is calling for a series of reforms to support these students while still stretching the most advanced. Jill Duffy, Chief Executive of OCR has been talking this morning to media including the Financial Times and BBC's Today programme about the proposals. Have you heard of an 'aidbot'? 🤖 Our #CambridgeDictionary #NewWords blog defines 'aidbot' as a type of computer program that uses AI to deliver aid such as food, clothes or medicine as quickly and efficiently as possible to the people who need it. Last month, BBC News published an article about a woman who built an aidbot that helps to simplify access to aid for displaced people.
