The Energy Year team recently met with Jose Bosch, CEO of Oleum Energy, to uncover the company’s game-changing initiatives across #Mexico and #Colombia! 📌 La Laja Field, Mexico Oleum Energy is driving growth with plans to produce up to 1,200 bopd from three wells by 2025. They’re also seeking investment worth USD 25-50 million to drill 10 wells over the next three years. 📌 Sinu-9 Gasfield, Colombia Oleum is a key partner in this prolific field in the Lower Magdalena Basin, which recently saw the completion of a 28-km pipeline and a 40 mcfd [1.13 mcmd] processing facility. By late 2025, this project will deliver an impressive 120 mcf [3.4 mcm] of gas per day! 📌 Reynosa Urea Plant, Mexico With an investment of USD 1.3 billion, Oleum is building a cutting-edge urea plant to produce 750,000 tons annually by 2027. This flagship project will support Mexican agriculture and will also export urea to the U.S. “It is a flagship project for us, and will help develop the local economy of the state of Tamaulipas,” Bosch stated.
