🌏 Two weeks full of inspirations from one of the warmest people I've ever met, Indonesians 🇮🇩 How did I spent my two weeks in Indonesia? It's was Halal Expo Indonesia time at Trade Expo Indonesia 2024. How was it? Just try to imagine the world largest muslim population that is set to be the 4th strongest economy by 2045. It's booming! Wasabih was proud to continue its partnership and support of what we believe will soon become the world largest Halal trade trade show. I travelled with a member of Wasabih, Abd Elmohaimen M., bought my flight ticket through his platform Seeru | سيرو. 👁 After 7+ years in Malaysia, this trip to Indonesia was an true eye opener for me. I discovered an incredible country with one of the warmest and kindest people I have ever met. It was fascinating to see how entrepreneurs are leveraging technology and sense of community in their businesses, paving the way for a brighter future for the Halal Economy. Hijra of Dima Djani is one true example. I was also inspired by the story behind the "Story of the Stolen Homes", a booked authored by my dear sister Guzelya Marisova. A must read for your children to understand what happened in Water-melon land. It was also the occasion to meet with our partner Komunitas Pengusaha Muslim Indonesia who, under the leadership of Rachmat Sutarnas Marpaung who brought a substantial number of exhibitors to the Trade Expo Indonesia. At the H20 Conference by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) and Halal Expo Indonesia, I met with global leaders. I was happy to meet with my Mohammed AlKaff AlHashmi of Islamic Coin who gave an outstanding presentation about Sharia compliance in Web3. After the show I was kindly invited by our partners at PT. Angan Kreasi Semesta - Sky Connection, organisers of Halal Expo Indonesia for a road trip to Central Java for meetings and Team Building activities. This trip was made to immerse myself in the rich traditions of the country. From the bustling roads of Jakarta to the serene cities of Jogyakarta, Wonosobo, Magelang, Solo in Central Java. The warmth of the people and the beauty of the landscapes truly left a lasting impression on me. This trip reinforced my belief in the power of brotherhood and sincere collaboration across borders to build the Halal Economy. ❓ What do you get when you spend time with your partners outside the "work" environment? 💡You get to know people at their deepest selves and understand better what purpose drives them 💡You learn about their struggles and see that they hold to their values through challenges 💡You build powerful connections at diverses levels which lead on a stronger will to collaborate 💡 You learn, get inspiration and learn to be humble 💡 You find opportunities and discuss them in detail Thank you very much Aryo Wibisono and Liza Merina and your wonderful teams.
