AIADR is pleased to announce that our Vice-President, Dr. Christopher Malcolm, had the distinguished honor of delivering a special address at the Promotion Conference on Ad Hoc Arbitration in the Maritime Field, held in the Hainan Free Trade Port. In this event, Dr. Christopher explained the importance of ad hoc arbitration and affirms AIADR's commitment to the development of ad hoc arbitration across the region.

We are pleased to announce that our President, Datuk Sundra Rajoo, had the distinct honor of representing us at the Nepal ADR Week 2024, an esteemed event organized by the Nepal International ADR Centre (NIAC). This event brought together leading ADR professionals from across the globe to discuss advancements and challenges in the field of dispute resolution. As part of the program, Datuk Sundra was invited to speak on a panel discussion on the topic of "Contemporary Issues and Challenges in Construction Dispute Resolution under FIDIC". His discussion offered a comprehensive analysis of dispute resolution mechanisms under FIDIC, enriched by his extensive experience and perspective as an arbitrator. We extend our gratitude to NIAC for the opportunity and look forward to fostering further collaboration in advancing ADR practices globally.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the AIADR-BAC Mediation Training Course, an intensive six-day program held from 25th to 30th November 2024. The course began with insightful lecture sessions led by Dr. Christopher To followed by engaging tutoring sessions conducted by our esteemed and experienced tutors, Samrith Kaur, Dr. Navin G. Ahuja, FCIArb FAIADR, Sharmini Thiruchelvam, and Selva Subramaniam. We are confident that participants have acquired invaluable knowledge and practical skills through this comprehensive training. We extend our deepest gratitude to the course Lecturer and Tutors for their unwavering dedication and expertise, which contributed significantly to the success of this course. AIADR was honored to host a delegation from Foshan Lawyers Association on the 28th of November 2024. The delegation was led by Mr,Chen ZhiKun,Vice President of the Municipal Lawyers Association and accompanied by esteemed members of the Foshan Lawyers Association. They were warmly welcomed by Fellow members of AIADR, Datin Chu Ai Li and Mr James Ding along side the Head of Secretariat, Ms Wan yng Cheng. The visit facilitated an engaging and productive discussion on potential avenues for collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and other significant topics of mutual interest. AIADR is confident that this initiative will serve as a foundation for meaningful partnerships and further impactful collaborations in the future.

The lecture sessions for the AIADR-BAC Mediation Training Course 2024 have successfully concluded! The signing ceremony was officiated by Mr Man Sing Yueng, Vice President of AIADR alongside with Aleksei Korochkin, Chairman of Chambers of Arbitrator.
