Represented by our CEO, Kian Seah, HHI participated in the Mid-Tier Growth and Innovation Program organized by Khazanah Nasional Berhad. Mid-Tier companies, which make up just 1.7% of local companies, contribute approximately 16% of the total workforce and 40% of GDP. The MGIP program was conducted by Navin Wathan of Korn Ferry in Kuala Lumpur. Alongside five other Mid-Tier companies, we explored the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Working Backwards methodology, a structured approach to developing customer-centric innovation strategies and scaling processes. Key takeaways from the program include recognizing that HHI’s strengths—such as our focus on productivity and efficiency—can sometimes become a weakness, as they may limit our ability to co-create new opportunities within the ecosystem. Going forward, HHI is committed to adopting a customer-centered approach to innovation, focusing on their needs, challenges, and long-term aspirations. Most importantly, being part of the MGIP Cohort 1 has fostered a sense of fellowship, ensuring that this innovation and scaling journey is a shared one. The best is yet to come—stay tuned! #HHI #HHIAdventures #KianSeah #MGIPCohort1 #KhazanahNasionalBerhard #AWS #Sustainability #Innovation #GreenFuture
