Last week at Iskandar Malaysia Studios, we had the privilege of welcoming a vibrant group of students from Nanyang Polytechnic. As the pioneers of tomorrow’s media landscape, these young creators are the heartbeat of innovation in filmmaking. At OMG, we're committed to igniting the passion of these future visionaries by exposing them to the forefront of virtual production technology. Our journey through both traditional and cutting-edge virtual sets provided a glimpse into the endless possibilities that await in the world of digital storytelling. The energy and creativity displayed by these students were inspiring. As they stepped into Southeast Asia's largest virtual production studio housed in a soundstage, they weren't just walking through a technological marvel—they were stepping into the future they will shape. Last March I coordinated JISR The Bridge Film Festival: Asia Pacific's first GCC Film Festival with Director and Producer Livy Von Goh. We were blown away by the overwhelming support from Singapore and especially its neighbour Malaysia. Malaysia has so much to offer and our partnership with Iskandar Malaysia Studios demonstrated cutting edge technologies and state of the art filming facilities are just at Singapore's doorstep.
