MGA-MOGSC INDUSTRY GALA DINNER 2024 Alhamdulillah. Last night I attended the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) - The Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC) Industry Gala Dinner 2024. 🌟 PRESTIGE 2024: It's a Wrap! 🌟 I recently had the privilege of joining the Program on Energy Sustainability & Transition and Insights to Graduate Engineers (PRESTIGE) 2024, organized by the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) from 15th-17th November 2024 at the Raia Hotel and Convention Centre, Kuching.  This incredible event covered Malaysian Gas Industry 101, Careers in Energy, and a technical visit to Kuching ART Assembly Station, where we experienced their hydrogen-powered ART prototype—a cleaner energy marvel!  Thank you to my lecturers, event sponsors, PETRONAS, DELEUM, PTTEP, ExxonMobil and the organizer, the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) team for making this event so impactful.  It was eye-opening to learn that there are plenty of career opportunities in the oil and gas industry, especially during this period of energy transition. Our country continues to rely on oil and gas as a key part of our energy mix, using a just and pragmatic transition approach to ensure energy security, energy equity and sustainability. The program was both educational and fun, allowing me to form meaningful connections with other university students and industry professionals like Ir. Pramod Kumar Karunakaran Tn Hj ISMAIL SAID, Tn Hj Md Ezamudin bin Mohd Said, Mr Syahril Hussin, Mr Yau Kuan Lai, Madam Sylvia Bunga Sekino, Mr Sharil Shaari and many more. Their advice and perspectives were invaluable in understanding the current landscape of the energy sector and the career paths it offers.
