The Voice of Renewable Energy Podcast team had the chance to visit the Malaysia Pavilion at COP29 Azerbaijan. It was amazing to see how Malaysia is working on renewable energy in different areas. The pavilion showed: - How universities and research centers are driving new ideas and innovation. - The role of big companies and industries in leading large renewable energy projects. - How small and medium businesses are contributing with creative and practical solutions. Seven colors represent the areas that they are negotiating at COP29. Including: -Finance and Economy -Trade and Industry -Energy -Sustainable development -Technology and Innovation -Youth -Natural resources We were truly impressed by Malaysia’s efforts and look forward to sharing more about this visit in our upcoming podcast episodes. UNVEILING OF NATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY 2.0 AT THE CLIMATE CHANGE FORUM 2024 | 30 SEPTEMBER 2024 In a major step towards tackling climate change, YB Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad launched the National Climate Change Policy 2.0 (DPIN 2.0) at the Climate Change Forum 2024 in Putrajaya. Themed Towards COP29 Baku, the forum sets the stage for Malaysia’s participation in the UN Climate Conference in November 2024. Malaysia’s Premier Energy Efficiency Conference at IGEM 2024 MGTC is privileged to host the *2nd Annual National Conference on Energy Efficiency* which will be held on *Wednesday, 9 October 2024,* in conjunction with the 15th International GreenTech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference (IGEM), at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
