We were honoured to host the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency (BPLH), Dr. Hanif Faisol, S. Hut. M.P accompanied by the Acting Regent of Pelalawan, Dr. Jhon Armedi Pinem, at our subsidiary in Pelalawan Regency, Riau. The visit emphasised our dedication in pioneering sustainable solutions in the #PalmOil industry, including #MethaneCapture technology. This innovation converts methane gas from palm oil mill effluent (POME) into power generation fuel, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By 2023, our 17 methane capture facilities have successfully avoided emissions of 539,225 tonnesCO2eq which is equivalent to emissions from 117,000 passenger cars.
