~Empowering Our Team with Life-Saving Skills~ Pengerang Terminals Sdn Bhd recently organized Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA), CPR & AED Training, held on 4th - 5th February 2025. This training aimed to equip our participants with essential life-saving skills, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies—both in the workplace and beyond. Throughout the session, participants gained hands-on experience in CPR for adults, children, and infants, proper usage of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and managing common emergencies such as choking and severe bleeding. They also engaged in scenario-based practice sessions to enhance real-world applications. By the end of the training, they developed confidence in providing first aid and CPR, learned to operate AED devices effectively, improved teamwork and communication skills in crisis situations, and earned certifications in BOFA, CPR, and AED, further strengthening their professional skill set. A huge thanks to all the participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm. Your commitment to safety and preparedness is truly commendable. Celebrating Achievements and Traditions at PTSB We recently hosted our Q2 FY2025 Townhall and celebrated the Year of the Wood Snake with a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration! During the townhall, our CEO shared the performance update for the first half of FY2025, highlighting remarkable safety, sustainability, and financial performance achievements. This milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone at PTSB. The event was filled with memorable highlights, including a fun best-dressed contest with a red and gold theme, recognition of outstanding efforts through the Quarterly Leadership Award, and a heartfelt thank-you to our Inclusion & Diversity Lead, Nurfarhanah Mohd Anuar for her two years of dedication to fostering a more inclusive workplace. ~Learning from the Best!~ From 13th to 15th January 2025, our Maintenance Manager, Nasrul Naim Rashid, and Senior Maintenance Engineer, Abdul Hadi Adam, had the privilege of visiting Vopak Terminal Jakarta (VTJ) for a site visit.   This visit aimed to gain valuable insights into their advanced truck loading system, exploring its technical and automation features for potential implementation in Pengerang Terminals Sdn Bhd upcoming Truck Loading Bay project.   VTJ, being one of the most mature terminals, provided an incredible learning and knowledge-sharing platform.
