📢𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒!📢 The government has announced an increase in rooftop solar quotas under the NEM mechanism for households (NEM Rakyat) and the commercial and industrial segment (NEM Nova). 𝐍𝐄𝐌 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝟏𝟓𝟎𝐌𝐖 𝐭𝐨 𝟔𝟎𝟎𝐌𝐖, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐄𝐌 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝟑𝟎𝟎𝐌𝐖 𝐭𝐨 𝟏,𝟕𝟎𝟎𝐌𝐖. 🌞 The solar installation rebate of up to RM4,000 for domestic users under the SolaRIS scheme is extended until April 30, 2025. Existing rooftop solar owners can now upgrade their systems and switch to the NEM programme. The NEM scheme is also open to agricultural electricity users. 📅 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐄𝐌 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.
