Nurturing Future Talents with PM Fundamentals Our Engineering & Construction’s Project Management Academy (PMA) held in early December 2024 a two-day Project Management Fundamentals Training for our Cohort 1 Graduate Management Trainees (GMTs) at Dorsett Putrajaya. Led by internal trainers Alastair Tait and Nazril Nordin from the PMA team, and former colleague Ramzi Kadri as guest trainer, the GMTs were introduced to key project management’s principles and concepts, which form the foundation to deliver offshore project safely. Chief People Officer Puspa Hanita Aziz also joined the GMTs during lunch break and emphasised how Sapura Energy’s project profitability heavily relies upon its project and support team’s solid understanding and ability to embed Project Management and Control Operating Model, or PM-COM, in bidding, contract management, offshore execution, and project closeout. Head of Project Management Unit Catalin Mamaischi was also invited to share his experience as senior project manager with the future talents of Sapura Energy over dinner. A big thanks to our PMA team, trainers, and GMTs for making this happen!

The People Behind Asia’s First Reverse S-Lay A throwback video when our project management team and offshore crew safely delivered a pipeline removal campaign in Thailand last year using the reverse s-lay technique onboard the Sapura 1200. The campaign showcased our people’s determination, collaboration and innovation, combined with the versatility of our strategic asset, that led to Sapura Energy receiving the highest award category from our client. Thank you once again to our client, strategic partners and subcontractors, and our people from the PMT, offshore crew, and all the supporting functions for believing in our ability to deliver innovative solutions. This achievement is also dedicated to our late colleague, General Superintendent Paul Atkins. He was always a leader who exemplified “Our Way” – always honest, accountable, and respectful. Muhammad Zamri’s early commencement as “team captain”, is a testament to his commitment and dedication to hit the ground running and lead the Group’s turnaround towards success. Muhammad Zamri, who is an internal successor, has been part of the Sapura Energy leadership team since July 2019 as CEO of SapuraOMV Upstream (SapuraOMV). Under his stewardship, SapuraOMV has grown to become one of the largest independent companies in the region, with robust growth portfolios. He has over 25 years of experience with PETRONAS, where he last held the position of Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management. Guided by Our Way’s values and principles, his immediate top priorities include completing the Group’s restructuring exercise as soon as possible, strengthening operational efficiency and discipline, and focus on charting Sapura Energy’s future business direction based on its core capabilities. The Board and I would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Nasri Mehat, who stepped in as Officer-In-Charge, and to the management for their hard work and devotion during the leadership transition period. Nasri’s calm demeanour allowed him to lead and steer the organisation while maintaining stability and continuity in our operations.
