We're hiring a Graphic Designer! This is a full-time hybrid role for a Graphic Designer at STEM 4 All Makerspace. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating posters, and promotional materials, suitable to be printed in full scale for events. Some remote work is acceptable for this role. Qualifications: Basic level of proficiency with Adobe Illustrator Attention to detail Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team Able to work in a fast paced environment Why STEM 4 ALL Makerspace? I had the opportunity to facilitate the closing ceremony of Karnival Minggu Sains Negara 2024 (MSN) at Putrajaya International Convention Centre. Officiated by YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang from the ministry of science and technology, this event was also the conclusion to the nationwide Malaysia techolympics, which drew thousands of students into STEM fields. Being the person in-charge of the engineering activity stations and the STEM 4 ALL Makerspace booth at the event, I had the pleasure to interact with various enthusiastic students curious about robotics and science. The team worked together right from the venue setup, and led a smooth event until the end, it was great meeting the best programmes manager Aina Fatah after long!

🌟 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰! 🌟 This past weekend, we had the privilege of representing Universiti Malaya-Wales as a STEM partner at the 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 (𝗠𝗦𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰) 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗸𝗵𝗶𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗮𝗻, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on 17 and 18 November 2024. This flagship event by MOSTI brought together thousands of students, educators, and science enthusiasts to celebrate the wonders of STEM. At our 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵, we engaged with curious minds through hands-on activities: 🔬 𝗢𝗵, 𝗠𝘆 𝗗𝗡𝗔! – Students discovered the magic of extracting DNA from everyday fruits. 🧪 𝗘𝗻𝘇𝘆𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 – Exploring catalase reactions was both fun and educational. 🍞 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻— Witnessing yeast in action sparked excitement about microbiology. The energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity of the participants were truly inspiring. It was heartwarming to see so many young learners taking their first steps into the fascinating world of science and biotechnology. A huge thank you to MACRI and STEM 4 ALL Makerspace, the main organizers, for the opportunity to be part of this incredible event. Also, thank you to my team members, students, and everyone who visited our booth.
