💭Imagine a world where your team spends less time on infrastructure management and more time building the future state as you scale! On Thursday morning, in a meeting with a scaleup founder whose company we have identified as a potential customer, we got a question that made us pause: “𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 [infrastructure] 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?” (𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 , 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴). It’s a fair question, and it highlights a broader view: when we hear #DevOps, we often think of a job title or a [managed] service. It’s much more than that: it’s a philosophy📜. Originally coined in 2009 by Patrick Debois, the term DevOps was born from the idea of seamless collaboration between development and operations. Adopting its methodology, best practices and mindset, leads to building a culture aimed at accelerating software delivery and improving resilience through synergy. At the center of this culture, no tools or processes: Humans. (until the machines start developing genuine-empathy-ful relationships) Indeed, we are marketing The NEBU as DevOps-as-a-Service. With that, we mean a product on a #SaaS model - powered with AI engines - that integrates seamlessly with your team’s workflow, analyzing and automating routine infrastructure tasks, ensuring net zero downtime, and letting you(r) engineers do what you/they do best: drive real innovation and deliver value to your clients, customers, and/or users. Think of our solution as an augmentation to your team, not an external service. NEBU amplifies your technical capabilities by handling the endless stream of routine tasks, spotting misconfigurations before they escalate, and securing your cloud environment seamlessly - and very soon with predictive precision. Here’s a philosophical question we could ask ourselves: 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀? Is it time to rethink the role of infrastructure in our organizations? We've been asked several times - both online and offline - about the meaning behind our logo, name, choice of colors... Like every company building a product, tech or not, we wanted a cool and memorable logo - not sure we are there yet, tell us in the #comments. Most of all, one that conveys the message we are advocating and that gives hints about our value proposition(s). 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 Ahmet Bahadir Ozdemir’𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧 Airalo'𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘰, 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘌𝘉𝘜'𝘴 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮. Unlike Airalo, founded in 2019, NEBU was born in the "new age" of modern LLMs and Generative AI - which we use for 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, along with Predictive AI models we are building with ML for preventing #downtime and other nasty effects of cloud #misconfiguration. You’d think this would mean an AI-generated logo, right?! Well, we tried Midjourney, DALL-E Open Ai, and Stability AI's SD, but the first attempts didn't quite capture our vision. Instead of adjusting prompts or compromising, we went old school: hand sketches and layered designs (relic saved for future memories). We liked the outcome.! Then a second iteration came after external feedback, we redraw it on The Inkscape Project to turn it into a scalable vector graphic (SVG). 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵. Here’s how our logo represents the key pillars of value we deliver: >> 𝗦̲𝗽̲𝗲̲𝗲̲𝗱̲ of execution of configuration tasks ⇅ 𝗦̲𝗰̲𝗮̲𝗹̲𝗮̲𝗯̲𝗶̲𝗹̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝘆̲ (adaptative) of infrastructure that grows and shrinks with your with your needs <> 𝗤̲𝘂̲𝗮̲𝗹̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝘆̲ and consistency in code delivery and deployment ◇ 𝗦̲𝗲̲𝗰̲𝘂̲𝗿̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝘆̲ & 𝗖̲𝗼̲𝗺̲𝗽̲𝗹̲𝗶̲𝗮̲𝗻̲𝗰̲𝗲̲ of your cloud environment ◈ 𝗦̲𝘂̲𝘀̲𝘁̲𝗮̲𝗶̲𝗻̲𝗮̲𝗯̲𝗶̲𝗹̲𝗶̲𝘁̲𝘆̲ of cloud footprint and spending. More than just a design, it’s a visual representation of our core offering. --- Whether you choose to create a logo via GenAI, sketch it by hand, hire experts, or use pre-made assets, here is what we have learned: - Collaborate> Involve your team and network - Allocate resources wisely> Use the ONLY time and budget you can afford - Iterate purposefully> Perfection doesn’t exist; limit revisions - Protect it> Consider trademarking if relevant - Stay aligned> Ensure the logo embodies your company’s vision. This post is already long enough, thanks for reaching this line. The story of our name and font choice will have to wait another day PS: As NEBU grows, our brand identity may evolve, and we might call upon the expertise of François Hurtaud, again: his guidance was invaluable for our v2.

At NEBU, we embarked in our journey with AI from #DayZero. Starting from crafting prompts to light Retrieval-Augmented Generation (#RAG) with the infrastructure we had in our friends’ and our hands, before we moved to fine-tuning models such as Meta's Llama 3.1, Anthropic's Claude 3.5 and Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro. And “Here comes [a new challenger]!” 🕹 #streetfighterII #childhoodmemories #arcadedays, not so new though, OpenAI with a new model called: ooohONE The way they’re approaching “Reasoning” opens some exciting possibilities for how models are trained – after you watch the video, go try o1-preview or o1-mini (which, based on our testing, is relatively superfast; let's see what professional benchmarks say). To serve our users and customers, we are in constant focus on building expertise with specific datasets and robust architecture that mitigates hallucinations. It is also critical for us to ensure compliance, security and data integrity. This new path might shape the future of NEBU’s AI engines… 😅 when we find time to deep dive in it. Harnessing AI is not an easy task. We recommend that you navigate at your pace and keep learning as the future is being shaped through these breakthroughs balanced with necessary governance and #ethics. We’d love to read your thoughts on the #Reasoning concept, as we learn together. Leave a comment here below… or you can join the passionate ❤️🔥 conversation on training improvements started by our contributors Pravin Vijay and Nik-Faraj Khalid on our Discord earlier this week 😁

Our Discord server is already home to 21 early members and we see it becoming a place for technical discussions (who said arguments 🤐 ) around our NEBU's platform and #AI engines. We’ve set up few channels - besides the standard ones - for sharing: 🔄 Release notes & patches announcements* 🆕 Beta testing invitations for upcoming features 🔧 Technical troubleshooting forum - community support 🎯 Seasonal DevOps "YouDare" challenges More to come - can't reveal it all now 😉 So, if you're into back-end code cracking, infra bulldozer-ing, or foundation models' "wizardize", come and collaborate with us. 👉 https://lnkd.in/g76SzNZu *this would not replace regular communications to customers and users

The tables aren’t just turning — they’re spinning 🌐! Believe it...or not 😁, the race for innovation has never been more thrilling. GenAI is somehow at the forefront of this shift, not just as an enabler but as a game changer, equipping tech startups everywhere with the same "tools" to build fast and build smart. Every team, no matter where they are, now has the opportunity to innovate, disrupt, and reshape industries on a global scale, whether it's solving big problems, introducing groundbreaking concepts, or creating entirely new market needs. On Monday, we joined GenAI Fund, and cohosts Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Databricks, for their ASEAN GenAI Startup Report Launch Roadshow. It was an inspiring event and a great opportunity to celebrate AWS's #newregion ap-southeast-5 and its three availability zones. Kudos to the organizers, the showcased startups, the community builders, the ecosystem leaders, and the speakers who made the Malaysia session so insightful and engaging: Denning Tan, Laura Nguyen, Peter Murray, Ghazanfar Iqbal ᵃ⤻ᶻ, Louis Zac Cherian, Harsh Shukla, Anirudh Marc Jaikumar, Fahim S., Danesh Jothiprahasam, Amanda Cham, 500 Global, Najla Zamri, Jin Ee L., Antler, Patrick Kelly, Samuel Tan, YingJie Chin 陈颖杰, Khalil Nooh, Maxim Nawangwe, Javier Ruiz Jimenez, Mageshwaran Sekar, Dr. Kev Lim, Diego Rojas, Warren Leow 👏 Curious about how, at NEBU, we are using #GenAI to augment cloud-native businesses' ☁ technical ⚙ capabilities ? Let’s connect! We’d love to share how we’re harnessing AI power to build a sustainable future (through infra).

[Tech+Digital Career Fair 2024 by TalentLabs] NEBU's Recap 3/3 – The Final Wrap-Up and Heartfelt Thanks! 🙏🎉 🔜 7 days ago, we were wrapping up a successful weekend meeting and chatting with so many talented individuals at the career fair, and also fellow exhibitors - special shout out to our neighbors BASF Digital Solutions Digital HUB Kuala Lumpur 😉. The energy was positive, the conversations were meaningful (some very shy), and every interaction reinforced why we do what we do! Behind every well-organized booth and engaging activity, there’s a lot of preparation that goes unnoticed. We believe that the small details—like the way our logo was carefully crafted on the wall, the purple sticky notes for kind words, or even the candies we chose to match our brand colors—truly make a difference. Show that you care and respect more than just showing up #nonamedropping; let's put this way: Create an experience that reflects who we are as a company. 🌟 You don't need much invested other than time and passion. This attention to detail was our way of saying: "We value you." And it paid off, as we saw it reflected in the faces and feedback of those who stopped by our booth. Thank you to everyone who took the time to engage with us, ask questions, and share your stories. Your presence and enthusiasm were the highlights of our weekend! A special thank you goes out to our printer partners, Gogoprint and @Nightowlprinting , for the quality of the service (products and delivery) their exceptional support in bringing our vision and designs to life. Let's not forget our youngest helper — one of our co-founders’ son — who jumped in with both tiny feet early on Saturday to assist us onsite, proving that teamwork spans all ages! 👶💼 We are immensely grateful for the collaborative effort from our team and everyone involved in the preparation. From moving furniture to ironing table cloth, your commitment made it all possible. TalentLabs deserves another round of applause for their stellar coordination. 👏 We’re already looking forward to participating again next year and continuing to connect with such incredible talents. Let’s keep building those connections and driving innovation together! Until next time, thank you once again for being part of our journey. 🚀

[Tech+Digital Career Fair 2024 by TalentLabs] NEBU's Recap 2/3 – Celebrating Talent, Connection, and a Wall of Kind Words 💬✨ We're back with another recap, and this time we're shining a spotlight on the remarkable enthusiasm and quality of the participants who visited our booth. From bright-eyed students and fresh graduates to seasoned professionals, the diversity of talent was truly impressive. Whether they/you were seeking internships or new opportunities, the passion and drive were unmistakable. #bigthankyou! We had the pleasure of chatting with business analysts, business intelligence experts, cybersecurity pros, cloud engineers, SREs, full-stack developers, and future AI specialists. The background, experience, and skillsets were nothing short of inspiring. We hope that we didn't disappoint too much, as our current focus is primarily on #cloudinfrastructure roles. [Rest assured, whether you handed us a printed CV (and like we said no more printing go green/digital for the sake of 🌏 🌳) or shared a soft copy, we’ll take the time to review each one, save your details, pursue discussion or reply that we will consider you for future opportunities that align with our needs.] One of the highlights was seeing our hand-drawn and paper-decorated 🔷 logo on the wall covered with kind words 💌 from attendees, written on purple sticky notes. From encouragement to heartfelt thanks, these messages were a testament of the connections we made and the enthusiasm for what lies ahead. [🆗 Permission to publish photos 📸 and tag granted over LI message] Special thanks to Reyanna Ng and Brienne Lee, and their team for their stellar event management. The experience was top-notch for everyone involved. In our final recap, we'll wrap things up with our thoughts and share some behind-the-scenes 🎞 moments!

[Tech+Digital Career Fair 2024 by TalentLabs ] NEBU's Recap 1/3 – Did the Cloud Have You Lost for Words? 🔡☁️ This weekend, we had an incredible time connecting with so many talents at the Career Fair! Our booth was buzzing both Saturday and Sunday (the second photo was from the morning setup) and we dared participants to take some challenges around the themes of AI, DevOps, Cloud Infra - and a little bit of wordplay: We put your Cloud Infrastructure knowledge to the test📝⌛ with a high-pressure word search challenge. The task? Find 7 cloud-related words in just 65 seconds. Easy, right? Well… it seems the pressure was on, and while many tried, we didn’t have a winner this time. 😅 Don’t worry! Here is another chance to give it a try and prove your cloud-savvy skills to...yourself 😁. Just #dontgotothecommentsjustyet, the first comment reveals the possible words we had on our list. If you find more words please comment and ask for your treat 🍬 Stay tuned for the next recap with photos from the professional photographer!
