Empowered women empower women.   Year after year, I am inspired by the resilience, positivity, and drive shown by our Beauty for a Better Life graduates. L’Oréal commits to empowering women and uplift their lives because we seek to create the beauty that moves the world.   In Malaysia, we provide professional hairdressing and makeup artistry training for women from underprivileged background. We have supported 249 Malaysian women in bettering their future since we started Beauty for a Better Life in 2016.   We see that in Syasya, our 2022 beneficiary who is now a successful hairdresser and who returned to the programme this year as an educator. Syasya’s transformative experience and her desire to give back as an educator helps us to build a community of empowered women who want to empower women. This is what drives us at L’Oréal, our commitment to empower women.   Congratulations once again to our 2024 cohort who just graduated. L’Oréal Malaysia wishes you all the best in carving your own future. Country Manager MYSG at Beiersdorf

This month, we celebrated #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild in our Malaysia office as part of Beiersdorf‘s ‘Empowering Girls‘ program. In partnership with WOMEN:girls, we created a space for girls to explore their potential through mentorship & workshops, focusing on personal branding and mastering social media skills. Watching their confidence and enthusiasm grow throughout the day was truly inspiring. Since 2020, this global initiative has directly reached over 400.000 people, and it is on track to impact over half a million by 2025. I‘m proud we are part of the journey to give every girl the chance to dream, learn and develop their career for a better, fairer future.

  • Yesterday, we had our fourth session of the Kerjayaku: Goal Accelerator program, which built upon the themes from our first class on stress management and emotional intelligence. This session explores how we can live more mindfully in our personal and professional lives, emphasizing the importance of being intentional with our words and actions. Participants delved deeper into the principles of conscious communication, learning how to express themselves authentically while staying aware of their emotional triggers. We also explored techniques for active listening and how this can create more meaningful connections with others at work and in daily interactions. The session highlighted how mastering these communication tools can not only reduce stress but also enhance leadership abilities, creating more supportive and effective environments in any setting. The progress and growth we’re witnessing are truly exciting! As we continue through the program, we can see how these skills are helping participants navigate challenges with confidence and compassion. We’re excited to see how they apply these principles moving forward. Reminder: Registration for our November intake is now open! If you're ready to transform your communication skills and take control of your personal and professional growth, apply today: https://lnkd.in/ghMrdTe6
