Taking over the leadership from his father in 2015, Mr Lim Er Lin, our current Managing Director, continues to build on his father's legacy by blending tradition with modern innovation. Under his stewardship, Yat Guan has significantly advanced its operations, particularly in our Malaysian factory, by incorporating automated timber processing and implementing stringent quality control systems. Did you know, our Managing Director previously worked as a teacher. His attitude and management styles resembles a student and teacher relationship! There's a lot that our staff will learn from him 🤩

With around 150 manpower in Yat Guan Malaysia and Singapore, our small company always dream to expand much bigger and more advanced in the near future. Fingers crossed!

Did you know, Yat Guan Malaysia is a PEFC-certified company. PEFC stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. What does all of this means you might ask? This certification provides a mechanism to promote the sustainable management of our forests and ensures that forest-based products reaching the marketplace have been sourced from sustainably managed forests. This certification embodies our target in becoming a more sustainable company moving forward!

It's a wrap!!! 😍 2024 year-end celebration has concluded! A 2-day event in the historical city of Melaka was simply amazing! This year we celebrate together, both Malaysia and Singapore branch, including staff's family members joining us in this amazing city. We explored Zoo Melaka, Melaka River Cruise, Jonker Walk, Dutch Square, had our dinner event at Chan Mari Chan Restaurant, and lunch at Hatten Hotel Melaka. We hope you enjoyed this year's event!
