Laravel Backend Developer ( Junior / Senior)

Position Summary

As a Laravel Backend Developer at Websight, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.
• Write clean, secure, testable, and modular code that is scalable.
• Design and implement data storage solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Stay informed about Laravel and PHP developments and best practices.
  
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Laravel developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge of MVC design patterns.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
