We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team and drive transformational growth within our organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the learning culture of a cutting-edge software company and enable our people to excel in delivering innovative solutions for the financial industry.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Develop and Execute Learning Strategies to Drive Business Outcomes

  • Design and implement an L&D strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring employees are equipped to deliver exceptional software solutions and achieve measurable performance improvements.
  • Business partnering with leaders to address current and future skills gaps, creating targeted initiatives that support market competitiveness and business expansion.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in IT and financial services to continually ensure that the workforce is adequately enabled.

B. Deliver High-Impact Learning Programmes.

  • Create realistic scenario-based training modules that simulate complex challenges faced by employees, particularly in technical development, project delivery, and customer interaction, to enhance problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability in roles critical to delivering high-quality software and client solutions.
  • Design and deploy a structured On-The-Job (OTJ) monitoring framework to track and evaluate employee performance and skill application in real-time work environments and implement feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create, refine, and deploy technical and functional training for software engineers, business analysts, project managers, and other business services roles.
  • Collaborate with product units to design and implement upskilling initiatives on proprietary lending solutions.

C. Develop Future Leaders for Organizational Growth.

  • Build leadership pipelines that identify and develop high-potential employees, preparing them for strategic roles to support the company’s growth and expansion plans.
  • Design structured leadership development programs for all levels of employees (emerging leaders, team leaders, business unit heads, and senior management) by leveraging on proven frameworks.

D. Performance Monitoring & ROI

  • Establish clear metrics to assess the impact of learning programs on employee performance, project delivery efficiency and quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly analyze data and provide actionable insights to leadership, demonstrating the ROI of L&D initiatives and aligning programs with evolving business needs.

E. Culture Building & Employee Engagement

  • Business partnering with HR to integrate learning programs into broader employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador to ensure core values and mission are consistently reinforced in all learning and development activities.

F. Team Leadership & Optimization

  • Manage L&D resources, budgets, and vendor relationships effectively, ensuring cost-efficient delivery of high-quality training solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and adapt learning strategies to maximize ROI while meeting the demands of a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who:

  • Has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, IT, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in L&D. Experience in the software development or tech industry is a plus.
  • Possess experience in business partnering with stakeholders and is able to demonstrate tangible returns from prior L&D strategies / programmes / initiatives aligned with the business goals.
  • Is highly adaptable and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
