Booked a total of 6 nights at this homestay apartment. Apart from what the convenience and accessibility of the apartment’s location has to offer, the cleanliness along with the amenities the apartment provide would be the only dealbreaker that does not match up with the price-performance ratio. The rooms may look modern and stylish from the images they provide, but in actual fact it is filthy and dusty with the fixtures like the toilet door, tiles appearing to fall apart and give way anytime soon. One example would be the sofa as shown in the picture that was apparently not well-maintained. Paints were also peeling off from the ceiling that landed on our clothings. The fridge’s interior was also stained and dirty. Furthermore, we found something like an “ancient dinosaur egg” under the sofa and were amused by it. We also encountered difficulties in setting the temperature of the aircon that doesn’t seem to work despite numerous attempts. 2 days prior to checking out of the apartment, hot water supply was abruptly cut off while I was bathing at night. Nevertheless, the staff in charge were pretty friendly in explaining to us the cause of the issue. Overall it is quite a decent stay despite being costly, I would think that at this price point, I could have had found a better accommodation somewhere in the same district, and not pay S$700 for 6 nights here. 基本上还行，业主的服务态度很不错，但主要还是败在卫生上。整体上只要你不嫌太脏，还是能住的。空调得修一下，温度根本就调不了，即使调到了你要的温度，它还是会跳回原来的状态。唯一好的两点是这间住宿便捷的地点以及业主优越的服务态度。 性价比方面非常低，要按这个价格来谈，有太多方面需要去注意和提升。 感谢业主这一周的招待，谢谢！

I got a very good deal for this room..as I had hard 7 nights in Mongolia, I think I deserved a stay in this hotel. It is locates inside strategic place of the watertown. One thing is I got the highest floor and I could not carry my luggage all the way up, but the receptionist is good and let me put my luggage there and I just took all my necessary items up.. And I also had VERY good sauna and hot spring which relieved all my tiredness. And I'm very surprised with the breakfast..we got to pick our alacarte one night before and also buffet. I really like the tomato egg noodles and that is so far the best I ate in Beijing. I ate a lot because I need to climb great wall after the breakfast

Excellent homestay in Beijing. It's great to find this place in Beijing. Close to city center, spacious room, full amemnities, clean, especially reasonable price. There is a Metro station near the apartment but I usually take Didi taxi because the location is close to center, it's so convinent to go to other actractions of the city. If i have a change to return to Beijing, I will also choose to stay in this apartment again.

We’re a Swiss couple staying at this hotel for a week. The two people who run the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. We had a lot of suitcases so they offered to move us to another room to give us more space. They also helped us several times with taxis and other problems. The rooms are clean, cute and stylish. It has everything you need and the area is very convenient for visits and restaurants. We have been to Beijing several times with my wife and this is the best establishment we have stayed in. We highly recommend it !

Location of the house is center of WTown, i really love their scenario, the hotel vibe and WTown vibe. The staff is friendly, helpful, room is so clean, tody and comfy

This is a cozy boutique hotel set within old traditional buildings. Location is right in center of the popular Nanluoguxiang shopping street. Few minutes walk from the subway. We travelled as 3 couples (6 adults), so we booked the family suite which was advertised as 3 beds in 1 suite suitable for 6 adults. Unfortunately the description of this suite was a little lacking and we realised that it is actually 2 beds in the living room without separating walls or doors while the 3rd bed is in the upstairs loft. And there is only 1 bathroom in the loft for the whole suite. The shower had hot water but pressure was not as strong as we liked. The suite comes with a pantry with fridge, electric hob, kettle and washing machine (laundry detergent pods included). And all of these including the snacks and drinks are complimentary. The staff will take your clothes to the dryer for you and placed them back in your room when done. They also offer complimentary coffee / tea all day in the dining room with some simple snacks. Breakfast is a mix of simple western and chinese options (like beef noodle and wonton soup). Yummy and adequately satisfying to start the day. We also loved that they offered small complimentary accessory items like heat packs to warm your hands, lighters, nail clippers, etc. What the suite lacked, the staff made up in abundance. For a small boutique hotel, the service was amazing. Even with the language barrier, the staff were always smiling and willing to help make our stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. We like to praise a staff in particular, Xiaoyan. We dealt with her more than others and she was the best. We had trouble hailing cars to get around the city, so she offered to book the cars for us using her personal account. She then paid for the car hire with her own money first and trusted us to then pay her back at a later time at our convenience. And on the day of our checking out, we needed to send our luggage to another hotel while we continued on our tour. Again Xiaoyan and her colleagues, helped to arrange a car to take our luggage to the next hotel. And because we were not going with our luggage, one of her colleague offered to escort our luggage to ensure they got there safely. They did all this without us asking and without asking for any compensation (we did tip them for their helpfulness and generosity). We definitely recommend this hotel for all the complimentary services and items they offer but mostly because of the staff and service. But maybe consider booking individual rooms with attached bath.

Highly recommended! This location is excellent. The room is very BIG, fitting for two people and two large suitcases. The tea in the room is very great!! The lobby is a bit small. The staff is friendly, though they don't speak English; using Google Translate is the best way to communicate. This water town is very beautiful. You should spend 1-2 nights here to visit the Great Wall both during the day and at night, as it's stunning at both times. Overall, it was great, and I'll be back.

Duan’s Quadrangle Inn is perfectly located. Within a stone’s throw away, not only is there the ticket office for boat tours and the Simatai Great Wall, you’ll find the entrance to Simatai is right in front of you; the boat tour starts from the dock about 5 metres from the office. You must try Duan’s hot springs (indoor and outdoor) and sauna for a relaxing experience. They provide towels and flippers/sliders, and lockers in the changing room. The morning breakfast buffet was a convenient way to start our day! There were continental as well as Chinese food and drinks. As the restaurant is located on the first floor, we sat in the terrace, overlooking the lake. The staff are polite and helpful. They have a mini shop outside the hot springs section if you forget to bring your waterproof phone holder. Overall, we’ve had a lovely time staying at Duan’s and we would not hesitate to stay again! 先説説優勢，一在景區中心，大概位置是日月島和望京街中間，去哪都方便。二酒店所有客房好像都在另外一側，並不臨街，比較安靜。而且不臨街的那一面有一個單獨衹有一樓住客出陽台門可以走的長條院子，特別特別安靜。三是服務人員態度都不錯。説説不缺點，尤其訂豪華家庭房的人必須注意了，我第一天主住的這個房型，從我第一次進去，就一股下水道非常噁心的味道，衞生間反味嚴重。並且是不間斷的有味。但是第二天我換了家庭房，就一點沒有味道了。第二個缺點，早餐簡陋。連個煎蛋和麪條都沒有。國慶節期間，晚上水鎮衹有4度，早上還是冷，菜品本來就不多，還都敞開蓋子全是涼的。之前住過其他客棧，雖然早餐論份，但是整體質量也比這個好。總結一下，就是優點不足以和缺點遞減。中規中矩。
