Hotel Catania dengan Kolam Renang

Albergo molto nuovo, si raggiunge facilmente con un bus che passa in centro, anche se ci vogliono una 20 di minuti. Personale super cordiale e disponibile. Camera molto grande e luminosa. Bagno con tutto il necessario e molto pulito. Colazione decisamente abbondante e molto variegata. Decisamente soddisfatto del soggiorno

Dreadful. The customer service was awful. The beachfront service was even worse. The guy at the entrance to the beach was rude, unhelpful and ill mannered, even shouting at my daughter at one point. The beach guys just sat there all day despite dirty deck chairs covered in ash from the day before. At the pool they had no towels and at one point no glasses for any drinks. There was a fight between two dogs by the pool, even though its mentions no pets. The pool staff spent most of the day on their phones. The saving grace was Gaetano he was excellent.

Room good. Pool, bar and restaurant staff good. Breakfast not good. Breakfast Staff need to smile they look unhappy and sulking. Cooked breakfast is disgusting - the scramble eggs are the worst i have ever seen. How you can do that to eggs i have no idea. Sausage and bacon poor too. Please chef and management try the cooked breakfast for 10 days. I am not sure you would eat it yourselves. Better remove from menu than serve that it does not represent good italian cuisine. Would be nice to have some more fresh fruit e.g. grapes. Only one lift works.

Ho soggiornato presso l’hotel vdb next per una sola notte. Ho scelto la struttura più moderna perché non amo le camere datate tuttavia devo ammettere che la parte “nuova “ è tutt’altro che confortevole. Camere piccole , brutte ,buie e a mio parere poco pulite ; completamente diverse da come vengono riportate sul loro sito. Inoltre non andava l’aria calda e nel cuore della notte faceva così tanto freddo che il signore della reception mi ha dovuto cambiare camera. Nota positiva la gentilezza del personale ma per il resto non lo consiglio.

location nice in front of the sea, but we didn't go to the beach as there is no access... you have to walk 15 min. breakfast acceptable, buffet not super full. pool closed at 6.00 pm ((in August)). about the room: old fashion, but ok. the first night we didn't sleep at all... AC too loud very loud, like you have a truck in the room all night. we asked to change the room, as we thought there was a problem in there. receptionist found another one, but same result. counted no. of plugs... we couldn't charge our phones at once. check out at 11 am as usual, but al 9.00 someone knocked to check the mini bar.

I forgot 3 electronic devices (nintendo) in the nightstand. 1 day afterwards nobody knew anything when I called. I tried to give my number in case of when they miraculously would find it, and they did not even accept. Therefore, for such a hotel Very poor service and non-realiable cleaning personnel.

The hotel is clean and normal but there is no logic. First of all, I am sorry for the workers in the bar and restaurant. We stayed for 2 nights, and the same staff worked all the time, in the morning and in the evening also. Thats hard! So, there is a pool what you can use only between 10.00 a.m. - 18.00 p.m. I mean, why? If you travel to the downtown for sightseeing, than you cant use the pool in the morning nor in the late afternoon or evening... nonsense. You have to pay more if you want to use the spa. The hotel has a restaurant named ”Pizzeria” but there is no pizza at all :D In the second night there was a fire alarm around 2 a.m., but there was no fire anywhere, only the workers suffered something. The staff are nice and helpful.

It's a very nice hotel. Rooms are cozy with a well-equipped kitchen and a big bathroom. The most important is the staff of this hotel: so kind, so professional! Breakfast is good enough. The bar serves great Sicilian beer and wine (and the others). In our room, we also had a nice balcony/ terrace. Rooms were cleaned every day. In the reception, we could find many offers for different trips (Etna, Taormina etc...) + we got a voucher for a place on the beach in Catania. We even could rent a car or book a taxi for a fair price. Generally speaking, if next time I plan to go to Catania, I will book this hotel again.
