Truly wonderful service, great location, very nice rooms, the best tasting restaurant on rooftop with amazing views. Really happy we stayed here. The employee named Don also helped upgrade our room, book us a train ticket last minute, store our bags, and and check out late. The only minor improvement could be that the gym is limited and had a slightly not working machine. Overall would recommend to everyone.

The service was incredible. Wendy was super helpful and it's really kind of them to prepare a map of the area and a list of food to try in Hanoi, and to also give us a local specialty cake (btw the cake is good, it's like ang ku kueh). Breakfast is indeed no frills but good enough before you head out for second breakfast 😂😂 they even offer to cook you pho and eggs as part of the ala carte breakfast bar menu.
Bed is also clean!! I have mad allergies (dust, animal fur etc etc) all the time and didn't face any issues here. The traveller sockets in the room are also super considerate and thoughtful.

It was a very good and centrally located hotel within the Old Quarters. it made getting around easy and simple. I think it was great to have them upgrade my hotel room and I do not want to imagine what I originally booked. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice hotel and my upgrade room was great! I think I was upgraded to a superior suite in which it can fit a family. hahaha It was a decent size room and comfortable. I think my biggest concern here was basically the mosquitos that kept coming in. The bathtub always felt like it was going to break though, and no hot water was available while I was there, which was hard to shower when the temperature dropped and too cold to shower. The most disappointing thing here was no breakfast at all...I didn't realize when they didn't let you get breakfast while booking a room also meant no kitchen at all and no breakfast whatsoever. I think this is the biggest negative to the hotel (I'm not one to get up early and go searching for food hahaha). However, if you are one to go searching and exploring early in the morning then do not let that deter you from booking here...it really is a nice hotel.
Though, those being some negatives, the good was the staff! They were all so very helpful, nice and willing to meet my needs. If I had a question or concern they were always there to help. I think this made the bad seem like nonsense which was great! Although I did have some negatives, I still think it is a decent hotel to stay in. They are really very helpful and kind. They also have airport service which was great to have and made transferring much easier. It is overall a good and centrally located hotel!

란란영호안끼엠 호수에서 2키로 정도 떨어져 있어서, 매번 그랩으로 이동했습니다.
시설은 레지던스 호텔이라, 침실과 거실(간이주방)이 분리되어 있고, 욕조도 있어서 반신욕하기 좋습니다.
청결은 깔끔하기는 하나, 크게 보이지 않는 부분이나 선반은 먼지가 있어서 닦고 사용했습니다.
레지던스라 특별한 서비스는 없고, 세탁세제는 요청 시 2개 정도 받아서 사용했습니다.
4박 동안 룸 청소나 수건 교체는 없었습니다.
유료 음료, 술, 물, 간식들이 있어서 체크아웃 때 계산하면 됩니다.
체크인 할 때 수건중에 지저분한게 있어서 교체 요청할까 하다가, 크게 개의치 않고 사용했다가 체크아웃 때 돈 냈습니다. 공항 드랍 기사가 기다리고 있어 길게 아웅다웅 할 여유도 없고, 마지막 여행 기분을 망치고 싶지 않아 그냥 지불했으나 공항가는 길은 기분은 살짝 언짢더라구요.
번화가에서 벗어나 시끄럽지 않은 호텔이었고, 주변에 식당이나 카페가 많아서 나름 주변에서 식사나 음료도 즐기기 좋습니다.
호텔 바로 앞 아침부터 점심까지 운영하는 쌀국수집, 정말 맛있더라구요! 한 그릇에 2천원 정도! 한 번 들러 보시길 추천해요~

PPengguna TetamuReception were very friendly and helped to book my taxis (cheaper than getting a Grab taxi). The room itself was very clean and housekeeping were attentive and cleared out bins etc everyday.
The location is also very good - near old town area and great to visit by going around the lake.

CcassapocketThe cleanliness is a bit sus. The towels are yellow. But the room is clean, bed is comfy, shower is hot.
Food here is bad - suggest not to eat here.
TV couldn’t work and wifi was down the whole stay (not rly their fault, twas due to the typhoon)
Overall: Not for the fussy, only if desperately need a place for a night near the airport

PPengguna TetamuThe slippers that were provided for walking around the room was too loud, where it is difficult to be quiet when walking around in them. The husband is also uptight in not letting people eat in the dining area but outside which I can understand and could go along with, because they don't want the guest to leave garbage or get their table dirty, but they need to at least leave a garbage can outside so the guest don't have to leave it on the ground. I didn't like how I couldn't find a place to throw my ice cream wrapper away when I ate it outside and had to end up throwing it in the garbage of another person's place.
I also didn't like the location of how it was out of the city center where it wasn't near any grocery stores or open fruit and vegetable, and meat markets. Just by a bunch of restaurants some being a bunch of aggressive jerks sitting outside waiting for bystanders to walk by where they try to aggressively approach you to get you to eat at their restaurant. I need a place where I can use a kitchen to cook food for myself. I don't need to eat out every day.
These owners are a bit shady at times in that when I did came in early where it was not time for me to check in where I was willing to wait until my room is ready, their son had the nerve to try to make a few bucks off me in that if I pay them a few bucks, I can have my room before the check in time which was a bit tacky. The husband didn't give me very good advice when he told me that staying at this place is good for going into the city center and coming back, which it isn't for me, because I have to take the bus 1 hour and 45 minutes to the city center which is a longways. What lousy advice for my situation like he was trying to convince me to stay longer just so that they can make more money off of me. This was a little tacky too. Good for them, but not good for me.
I also didn't like how they send my clothing to a cleaner when I thought they were going to wash it in their washer and hang it up on their clothesline on their top floor. Not only that, but the cleaners lost my dress pants in the process or probably even stoled it and kept it for themselves and not really telling me the truth. I told them about this and they said that the cleaners who they sent it to didn't know what happen to it. The owners were even trying to try to lie a little bit by saying that I never gave them a dress pants for them to wash which is a bunch of ********.
They could have just let me use their washer where I could have used my own detergent to wash my clothing and hang it up to dry on their clothesline on the rooftop of their place where I would have paid them for it. For all I know these cleaners that they sent my clothing to for them to wash could be their friend and they are trying to help give their friends the business for any of their guests that has laundry for them to use. These cleaners are probably a bunch of thieves for all I know that probably looked through guests clothing for things that are valuable which they take and pretend that they don't know anything about it when the guests inquire of it. This is another shady tactical thing that they are probably doing as well.
I even asked them if they could compensate me which would not have amounted to much which they had refused. They didn't even have the nerve to apologize to me but to only lie to me by telling me ******** that the cleaners who they sent guests clothing to never lose any of their clothing which is a bunch of ********. All of this could have been avoided had they either let me use their washer or they wash it for me in their washer where I would have paid them. Do not trust these people with your clothing!!!!

CCCKY1007Please pay attention to the room type when making a reservation. After my booking, not sure whether the homestay owner or Trip.com altered the room details, resulting in a mismatch between the room I reserved and the one provided. Luckily the room is still available, and we were able to move back to the room type we reserved for during our second and third night stay. The homestay is conveniently located in the heart of Hanoi, and the room looks exactly like the pictures, though it’s slightly smaller than expected. I love their rooms decoration! There's also a beautiful cafe downstairs. I would rate the cleanliness 3-4/5; the floor was a bit sticky, and the room slightly dusty. Additionally, note that there is no elevator in the building, so consider this if you have bulky luggage.

PPengguna TetamuI really liked the location of this place in how it is near a lot of food, fruit, and vegetable stands. I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store.
Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it.
The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders.
I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.
