mIbis Hotel （Luoyang Wangfujing Hotel）

Ultimately, an Ibis is an Ibis. It was clean and modern, staff were helpful, and the location was quite decent for my purposes. Upon leaving, stafd gave me a little gift to remember Luoyang by (a great city by all means). Little touches like that mean I can't fault the place.

The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to many places by bus, especially if you know Chinese. Receptionists are friendly. However, I cannot recommend this hotel for several reasons. The cleanliness and condition of the room did not meet the standards expected of an Ibis hotel, feeling more like a hostel. As an experienced traveler who frequently stays in different hotels and hostels, I found this Ibis particularly disappointing, leading me to cancel my next Ibis booking elsewhere. Additionally, we needed to use the laundry facilities due to the warm weather and our extensive travel. While the hotel provides laundry detergent, the washing machine had an unpleasant odor, and the dryer only runs for 10 minutes at a time. This meant we had to stay in the lobby and repeatedly press the button until our clothes were dry. Hopefully, this review will help other travelers make an informed decision.
