Super great hotel to stay. Very nice smile at the front desk and concierge. MO is still my favorest stay choice with no doubt.

I booked this hotel because of its location but after I arrived I think the location is even better than I expected. It is center to everything very convenient. Staffs are very polite and helpful

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

Hotel Villa Real is my go to hotel whenever I am in Madrid. It is centrally located, close to the museums, Retiro Park, Sol and Plaza Mayor. The service at the hotel is superior. The rooms are good size and very clean. The breakfasts are worth paying extra for. One of my favorite hotels in the world

Take Renfe C1 or C10 from Madrid airport to Chamartin Train Station only takes around 15 minutes. Just 2-3 minutes walk from hotel to Chamartín Train Station or metro. The room looks the same as the pictures shown. Good breakfast with many choices of cheese, hams, bread, hot dishes, juice and coffee. Quiet at night.

In fact, we decided to cancel our Booking reservation, because. even paying the extra amount due to a reservation with no charge cancelation: 1. Just received a message (*1) stating that my Credit Card was going to be debited for ”one night stay” ; this today, April, for a reservation in November ; reason invoked: they have to assure that the client will pay., and this through Booking.... 2. Answered, imediatly, that I dont authorize any debits on my Credit Card ; received a message with a printscreen saying that they were intitled to do it: NOT TRUE To make it short, after being in 42 countries, 3 continents, more than 400 cities, and I lost count in how many Hotels I ve been..., I m simply astonished how an Hotel in Spain, allows itself these pratices....; Besides violating the rules of Booking (I guaranteed a payment of refundable with an extra fee, with my Credit Card)they lyie about being entitled of doing it (the printscreen doesnt match my reservation) I´m Economist, so, I do understand that these procedures are, a cheap way (% interest..) to finance themselves with customer´s money ; What I really dont understand is how Booking allows it...... The front desk staff was the most professional and helpful I have ever encountered. Mostly the guy that works between 3:00 PM-11:00 PM. He gave me great tips for the purpose of my travel and great recommendations for affordable food and great local parties and bars to hang out, with this he made my stay in Madrid amazing. He might be even be the manager bu the way he handles the fast pace environment of a downtown hotel. Congratulations to the hotel for the great staff. The room and bathroom was nice and the requirements were meet whenever was needed. The only thing i would improve might be the bed mattress. It feels a little outdated since it is jot very confortable to sleep, not bad but not great.

We are an American couple from California. We don't usually write reviews but our experience at this hotel was so special that we just had to write a review. Our room was very nice and comfortable, but it was the customer service that we found so excellent. From the moment we checked in with the wonderful welcome at the service desk, and for the four days we stayed, was always so friendly and helpful. The bellman and Adrian were ”standouts.” Patricia, the concierge, was incredible. She always went way out of her way to arrange side trips, extra services and extra details we needed. She was really wonderful and so gracious. For these reasons and much more we plan to return to this hotel again.

Room was nice but I expected much more interesting decor from the ads. Area was very subdued, I think the restaurant was closed, maybe because of off season. Bed was comfortable and room was adequate. Liked the room darkening shades. Front desk help very nice and helpful with transportation questions. Overall harder to get to than I needed.
