Hotel Ibis Styles di Paris

We arrived at this Ibis after a 2 minute walk from Gare Nord (Eurostar). The room was small as most city centre budget hotels are; but a lick of bright white paint would not go amiss as the place has a look of a morgue. The room was clean and tidy as was the equally small bathroom - we thought we had seen and used the smallest sink at Travelodge London City but how wrong we were; this one takes the biscuit. Breakfast was good and with an average selection little wonder these hotels avoid a full English. Overall a good location next to the stations and close to the canal that runs through Paris - use it, it makes a nice change from Notre Dame and the likes. Nice staff.

The breakfast was really good. And offer coffee and tea for free near the reception. It's really good. I like it.Very close to the metro station.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood but with good bars and restaurants an easy walk away. Clean, comfortable room and quite spacious for Paris. Friendly staff. Epic breakfast. Reasonably priced. What more could you want?

If you require a economical hotel to stay during your visit to Paris this is the one. OK it a little out from the city centre but take the metro (which by the way is less than 20 metres from the door of the hotel) and your fifteen minutes in the center that's included a change. The area is what I imagined a Paris area to be. Full of restaurant, bars, bakeries and greenery lovely park round the corner. And more importantly safe. The Hotel spotless, staff more than gracious and courtesies, all spoke English which made it easier, but made me embarrassed of my French. Breakfast though continental was plentiful and pleasant.

Overall my experience was good except for the hotel not having a shower 🤔like why? I love taking showers but couldnt because the shower does not work. That's the only reason why I wouldn't stay there again but for everything else it was good. Location was perfect very central to the Metro and easy access to everything else. Overall very good experience for my first time in Paris for my birthday.

The staff was nice and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was great and the back lot bar was a lot of fun. I really also loved the idea of street artists creating the artwork for the site. We were just a stone's throw away from the metro which was very nice. One downside: the website says the rooms are air-conditioned and there was an air conditioner in the room but our room never really felt air conditioned.

Hotel was extremely easy to find and located very near two metro stations, Rome and Europe. Receptionist on arrival was very nice, speaking in French and English. City tax was dirt cheap, €7 for two people for two nights. We paid €50 for two people for 4 nights in Amsterdam earlier in the year so for comparison this was a lot better price. The room was nice, clean, comfortable, air con worked perfectly ( it was 30 degrees when we went). Shower lovely but a bit small if you’re claustrophobic. No fridge though. Perfect for a two night stay and would’ve stayed longer if I could. It was lovely and quiet, we even had a balcony however when you opened the door all you could hear were police and ambulance sirens. When I shut the door, I couldn’t hear a thing which was a relief. The hotel is quite close to the centre of Paris and gare de nord train station, it is 5-6 stops on the metro but the metro is a lot quicker in comparison to London Underground. Budget hotel but a lot better quality than most hotels I’ve stayed in before.

Lo principal y lo que buscamos TODOS, la relación calidad precio es perfecta. El hotel está muy bien situado a tan solo dos minutos del metro. El hotel en sí es muy agradable, las habitaciones confortables, y el desayuno es muy aceptable. Además, cuenta con un servicio gratuito de té, cafés y chocolate caliente durante todo el día/noche. Se agradece poder bajar o venir a cualquier hora y tomarte un café/te. El personal impecable y muy muy muy atentos a todo lo que puedas necesitar. Sobre el desayuno es correcto, no esperéis un gran desayuno impecable como el que podemos estar acostumbrados en España. Tiene una variedad de panes embutidos, quesos, cereales, frutas, mantequillas, mermeladas, entre otros, servicio de café muy bueno y te, y zumos naturales. Con relación a la habitación igual, no es muy grande, pero os aseguro que en Francia los encuentras mucho más pequeños y más caros. En nuestro caso una pareja con dos niños fue correcto, cama matrimonio amplia y un sofá cama para los dos niños de 9/14 años. No esperéis una habitación enorme porque por norma la cadena Ibis sus habitaciones son así, aceptables. Lo dicho por el precio y la calidad de todo(servicio, habitaciones) se merece una recomendación muy buena. Si tengo que volver a París repetiría sin lugar a dudas.

The location is close to nightlife and metro, and probably thats the best thing I can say about this property. They allocated an attic room on the top floor for our family of 4, which is without a doubt the smallest hotel ”room” I've ever stepped in. Although there were some exceptions, but largely the staff was not up to the mark, never in uniform, and some were frankly rude! They had an issue with me using the common toilet downstairs when there is a toilet in my room. In all the years of staying at hotels worldwide, this was brand-new and not expected at all! They expected the lobby area to be vacated at 9pm (or was it 10pm?). The lobby was again the smallest lobby ive ever seen, which also doubled up as the breakfast buffet area. The breakfast staff wasn't too great either. What made it worse was that our next hotel was an Ibis Budget property at Luzern Switzerland, which was head and shoulders above this one, although Ibis Styles is supposed to be two notches above Ibis Budget. Regarding the neighborhood, it was OK during the day and evening, but early morning there were strange characters roaming around and wouldnt let me stand outside the hotel and smoke in peace and tried to harass one way or another. It didnt help matters that a shady bar across the street remained open till amost 7am with characters hanging right outside, drinks in hand. I am not sure if this would be true of all of Paris, but definitely here there was a weird vibe. Having paid more than 300 EUR a night for the room, I expected better, and needless to mention, I shall not like to stay here again.

In all our years of visiting Paris, this was our first time at an Ibis hotel (or any chain hotel) and we were very pleased with our experience. So many things impressed us: being able to check in early, the friendly and efficient staff, the room layout and large bathroom, and the wonderful free breakfast. Our top (5th) floor room faced the street and was amazingly quiet. We loved the hotel's library theme, and if we'd stayed more than one night, I'm sure we would have had drinks at the bar! The 13th arrondisement was new to us, too, and we liked being away from the tourist crowds of central Paris. The area has many lively restaurants and bars filled with locals, and we found a great Italian trattoria on Ave. de France next to the H&M store. The metro station (Line 14) was just two blocks away and very convenient, as we were headed to the Gare de Lyon the next morning. A combination of an elevator and two escalators meant that we didn't have to use stairs to get to the platform, and the Gare was only 3 metro stops away. We thought the hotel was a terrific value and will definitely stay here again!
