Excellent place to stay in Sydney, a great alternative to a city hotel if you require multiple bedrooms or a kitchen. Clean serviced apartments with comfortable beds and full kitchen amenities. Our 2 bedroom had a balcony. The area “Green Square” is a tad uniform in design, prone to strong winds and a little dreary. That said, it’s very conveniently located above Green Square station which is one stop from Central and two stops from the airport so accessing all of Sydney’s major landmarks is no problems at all from this place. It has fairly decent cafes around it, lots of fast food outlets and a supermarket all within a stone’s throw.
Heated pool and gym both decent.
The only gripe and warning I have, especially for international tourists, is their $3 card surcharge. In this “cashless” hotel that is illegal behaviour and not permitted under Australian law. When challenged it was not applied to me as I stated I was more than happy to pay the security bond with cash. All businesses must afford you a way to pay that does not attract a fee in this country. If the owners want an extra $3 I suggest they apply it to the room rate to avoid these kinds of displeasures.
Fortunately the service at reception is fine, so I did not reduce my ratings based on this unnecessarily upsetting and stupid policy the hotel has. I do hope it is scrapped as it is tacky and unnecessary charges like these detract from the service standard achieved by the competent staff employed at the hotel.

Location is close to Green square station and near supermarket.

Our receptionist was very rude to us and not negotiable, talked back with lots of attitude and wasn’t accommodating won’t be coming back here

Spent 5 nights in this hotel during NYE to New Year. Location is close to train station, just 2 min walk from Green Square train station, from which you can access to city conveniently.
There's a McDonald's right next door, so you can get food even during public holidays. There is Woolworths supermarket right across the street and a couple of restaurants, mostly Asian cuisines. Room was quiet and clean and the facilities (air conditioning with heat and cold functions, microwave oven, expresso machine, washer and dryer) are good quality items and easy to use. The sleeping duck mattress was comfy, and pillows are just normal soft and firm pillows; however I wish the hotel can provide mattress topper because I prefer firm mattresses. Even though I brought my own contour pillow with me, I still got headache with neck pain for the last 3 days of stay due to mattress. Also there was a sudden emergency evacuation alarm on the morning of 30th Dec. and all hotel guests were asked to evacuate immediately. The alarm occurred 2 times that morning and I woke up suddenly so I couldn't sleep well that day. Overall this hotel is good for stay and I wish to return to this hotel again if they provide firm mattresses or mattress toppers next time.

Stayed twice within 2 weeks. Excellent all around with friendly service and modern apartments. Only downside is that the entrance to the car park is very tight.

love the location. it's right next to green square station (exit via botany) on 8 tweed. lots of eateries & a supermart next to hotel. 1 stop to Kingsford/ central.
cleanliness wise, very good on check-in. house keeping is alternate day. however, we stayed for 5 days and they missed out 1 cleaning. which is not good.
service is overall good however, on check in, i arrived at 12pm, and the lady informed room will be avail in an hour or so and she will call me once its cleaned. went out walked around, and came back , sat in lounge area waiting for her to call. but reception was busy with other guests (which is understandable) then chatting amongst themselves and no call. until 2 pm i went forward to ask, and the room has already been ready (i'm guessing it had been there a while, since i sat there waiting in vain. i was so tired from the red eye flight). This needs improvement.
Facilities, i didn't use as it was winter. But i saw they had a beautiful pool which i would love to swim in summer. hence the ok rating.
Overall, i will return for stay and see if there's any improvement.
