Here I reflect on the encounter of Trip.com group tour. On July 22, we set off for a group tour. On the way, we contacted the hot air balloon company Magic Horizon to sign up for a flight. We contacted by several emails. We determined that the flight time was on August 5, and the hot air balloon company would pick up and drop off at 4 am. After staying at the hotel the night before the flight, we immediately informed the hot air balloon company of our room number, and then we received the flight confirmation letter transmitted by the hot air balloon company through the hotel front desk but without a letter, and the pick-up time was changed from 4 to 3 and a half. When we received the confirmation, the tour guide called the room several times and asked if we had signed up for a hot air balloon tomorrow morning, and said the Chinese consulate called and asked us to meet him in the lobby to talk. After several calls, we called the leader and clearly pointed out that the tour guide directly contacted the team members to discuss matters that were not related to the itinerary, which had exceeded his duties. Please let her know the reason for it immediately. At 3:30 the next morning, the hot air balloon company staff did not show up, we dialed the confirmation letter on the other party contact Mohammed's phone, he confirmed our room number and replied that let us wait a few minutes, they arrived in a few minutes. We kept calling again a few minutes later, and the other party didn't answer. During the call, the tour guide was lobbying nearby: I told you last night. Trust me, they won't come and won't listen to you again, if you're going to fly, I can help. I asked him: What's going on, how did you know in advance last night that we were going to fly? The tour guide replied that he knew everything. I made it clear that it was a serious violation of the hotel to look over and disclose the information of the guests privately, and I will contact the Chinese consulate to let the government guarantee my safety. I also told him that I had promised the other party that I would keep the contract, and if they did not come, it was their business to lose the contract, and I would make a separate decision. By 4:30, after judging that the hot air balloon company was under pressure and no longer appeared, I said to the tour guide: If you can still guarantee to take off before sunrise, I accept your advice. The tour guide said: No problem, definitely catch up. So we paid for the ride to the departure point in the car they contacted. We were on the box for more than 20 minutes, and the hot air balloon had not yet taken off. The sun came out! Increasingly, the pilot kept calling the company to explain that the wind could not take off at the scene, but the company said that it should not take off (the pilot's explanation after the incident, has been recorded). Finally took off, but soon landed on a sugarcane field, hot air balloon company personnel rushed up to hand in the submission, I only filled in: not completed flight. When I returned, I asked the tour guide for a refund, and was immediately rejected. To ensure my personal safety, I immediately called the Global Consular Protection and Service Emergency Call Center of the Chinese Foreign Ministry (86-10-59913991), and then called Trip.com , which reflected the whole thing. The consulate hopes to keep in touch every day and send the hotel that I stay at every night to the Consulate through the WeChat public account. Trip.com Let me travel with peace of mind and help me deal with it when I return home.
