Hotel 2-Bintang di Krabi, Thailand

My partner and myself spent a few nights on the island at one of the small cottages. Perfect for couples and those having a short stay on the island. They are located about a 10 minute walk from the main area of bars and restaurants, however, at night walking back, its always a peaceful, enjoyable trip from the views. The cottages provide the exact facilities required and were sweet and cosy. Central enough to all the action and has the most gorgeous views!

Big room. Sometimes noisy because windows have open spaces so drill sound from the outside is heard. There is fridge, a table. Every day they give you new bottles of water. They fixed lamp in the bathroom but didn’t fix that one above the bed. The hotel is quite near to the airport however quite far from the “center” of Krabi, so it’s 30 minutes walk there.

Generally we have chose this hotel due itself great location, simply get off to downtown and market by foot couple mins. Room basically is clean and functional as same budget hotel as it shall be, but at least having a landline easily to call out desk if any assistance needed. TV remove is kind of mess that it been 2 sets as we thought it out of service.. Anyways you got what you really paid for but service of mindset at desk really needs more greets and smiles..

Hotel is located 3 minutes walk from Tonsai pier and in the heart of an area with lots of restaurants, yet is not noisy, at least in the rooms on the east side of the hotel. There's an arcade roof overhang on the west side of the hotel over the entrance, so you'll stay relatively dry as you come and go, even if it is raining. I did not eat the breakfast at the hotel or book any tours through them, so I cannot rate that, but WiFi worked well in the 2nd floor rooms, air conditioning was great, shower had hot water and the TV worked well. There were no mosquitoes in my room, but the lobby had a few due to the front doors always being open. Beware! Staff were helpful and when their credit card machine was not working, they let me delay payment for a day or two until it was working instead of forcing me to pay by cash immediately--it was their machine's problem, but they did not make it my problem, so I am thankful for that. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to the lovely island Ko Phi Phi Don! 5/5

Stayed for one night, booked on booking.com the night before and staff were super friendly, pleased to see clean bedding and fresh sheets and 14 mixed dorm was really pleasant and good temperature. Not as social as other hostels in Ao Nang. Should add bigger shelves for storage as top bunk only has small shelf….

Great hotel very close to Krabi Airport, with parking. We only stopped for 1 night as we arrived late at night on our way to Koh Lanta. Nice clean room with a very comfortable bed and good aircon. The bathroom had a good shower with towels and toiletries provided. Water, fridge, cups and a kettle in the room but you will need to supply your own tea/coffee. Sockets near the bed were handy for charging phones. Very close to 7-Eleven and Lotus's outlet with many restaurants (closes at 9.00 pm). There are also some food vendors on the road. We would stay here again.

Super friendly staff, near city walking area, good location, room is very clean, huge room for couples and worth it for the price , sure will book again if coming next holidays stay 👍👍👍

A basic hotel where you would only stay if arriving late or leaving early on a flight from KBV airport. The staff are wonderful, and they offer an airport taxi service for THB 200. Cute on-site library and relaxation room on the 2nd floor. The lobby is modern, trendy and looks nice. They have craft beer and other items for sale on the ground level. There is an on-site cafe, but the hours are from 8am-5pm, which defeats the purpose since most guests there are either arriving late or leaving early for a flight. Rooms are very basic and can use minor maintenance. The sink in my bathroom was clogged; and it was difficult to close the bathroom door unless you really pulled it really hard. There is a small hole in the drywall at the lower corner to the right of the television where the wall meets the tile; I stuffed it with the corner of a small towel as a precaution to keep out any possible critters. No dental kit provided. Short walk to 7-11 if you need it. Across the busy road is an evening food market, where I got pad thai for THB 20.

The staff were really friendly but unfortunately after waiting 3 hours to check in I found bed bugs in the bed. I had checked reviews to avoid any place with bed bugs and there was no mention of any on other reviews. I reported in to the receptionist and they changed my room right away and had a cleaner stripping the bed straight away. However there was then bed bugs in the 2nd room, to which I immediately showed the receptionist as she was still in my last room and she just flicked it off and said they will change the sheets. My concern was that if there are bed bugs in two of the rooms on the sheets then there will be more and they reside in the mattress and below the sheets too. I said I just cannot stay there as I do not want to get bites or for my things to become infested. The receptionist said sorry there are no refunds, I read at the desk that there were no refunds under any circumstances however I understand that for other reasons but this is unacceptable and this is a clear health issue and was completely out of my control. I am disappointed with the approach towards this and feel I should have received a refund as I was not there for even an hour. This would have been a lovely stay and the staff were so kind and did try to rectify the situation by giving me a new room immediately but unfortunately due to this issue I would not recommend staying here.

The staff were really friendly but unfortunately after waiting 3 hours to check in I found bed bugs in the bed. It's a decent location for a couple or family that want to be out of the main hustle and bustle. The staff were helpful with booking boats and our luggage. The room itself faced on to a large dining hall which was noisy during the day and a bright light that couldn't seem to be turned off.

It's a decent location for a couple or family that want to be out of the main hustle and bustle. The staff were helpful with booking boats and our luggage. The room itself faced on to a large dining hall which was noisy during the day and a bright light that couldn't seem to be turned off.

A lovely room with all amenities needed for self catering, a balcony and infinity pool with sun loungers. Staff are friendly and offer great service. Rooms are serviced daily. Its located in a quiet area around the back of the island towards the viewpoint. If you are looking for a quiet accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the town and beach party then it is an ideal spot within a few minutes walk to the town centre.

We enjoyed our staying. Yes it is not a new hotel, but it is nice and clean. The beds are just perfect. We got a wall view, but is was better than a noisy construction view. The hotel have a cool common area on the first floor so there is no problem is you do not get a window/balcony. The location is great, it is close to everything (bars, cafes ect) but absolutely quiet to sleep. Reccomend.

還行吧！住了兩次

Очень грязный номер, шторы все в пятнах, полы не моют. В душевой нет никакой перегородки/шторки, поэтому все заливается водой, так же нет полочек в ванной комнате (принимать душ было очень неудобно и брезгливо) Постельное белье в пятнах и дырках (надеемся что пятна просто не отстирались..) Матрас неудобный. Местоположение хорошее (но нашли не сразу, гугл карты неправильно строят маршрут) Есть небольшой подъем из ступенек. Вид из номера прекрасный! Пляжные полотенца выдали по запросу на ресепшене, воду также приходилось каждый раз просить (в номере не пополняли) Уборка по запросу (но по факту только постельное белье заменяют) Есть чайник, но чтобы его вскипятить нужно пользоваться розеткой возле кровати. До пляжа Лонг Бич идти лучше вдоль берега, занимает путь примерно минут 30-40 (не ходите маршрутом, который строит гугл мэпс - он ведет через гору)

El alojamiento necesita una reforma urgente. Por un lado esta bien ubicado a 2 minutos del ferry y a 3 minutos del ambiente de la isla pero sin que te moleste el ruido de la fiesta. El recepcionisla y la mujer que esta con el muy amable y simpatico. Hasta ahi lo bueno. La habitación necesita reforma urgente, humedades por todas las paredes, las toallas limpias pero viejas, la habitación huele a humedad y pata mi lo mas importante, la cama y la almohada incomodisima, no merece nada la pena, el colchon se hunde y tocas los muelles, no pude dormir en toda la noche y al día siguiente igual. Por otro lado en el baño hay una bomba de agua que se escucha toda la noche y es bastante molesta. En fin el dueño deberia de reformar e invertir un poco por lo .enos en colchones y almohadas seguro que aunque siempre se le llene porque la isla siempre tiene gente podria sacarle mas beneficio.

Lovely hostel, good vibes, staff are all lovely and looked after us well. Rooms are very clean and everything works perfectly. Despite the big storm which happened whilst i was staying, the staff acted quickly to restore electric and water so we could have the best stay possible. Definitely would reccomend

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Lanta Ray Bay. Everything about this place is as it should be - friendly and professional service, decent rooms with comfortable beds and the location is just perfect - a minute walk from beautiful, family friendly beach, numerous restaurants, great coffee shops, bars etc. Very convenient for exploring the island but also quiet and peaceful at the same time. Nam, who owns the hotel, runs it very well and is available at reception most of the time. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she helped us organise local trips, car rental and airport transfer (including a car child seat for our 3yo daughter which we didn’t even have to ask for). Breakfast offering is simple but tasty. All in all, Lanta Ray Bay is great value for money and we will be definitely staying there again when we visit Ko Lanta in the future. Thank you Nam and the team - you made our holiday :-)

This for the Robinson Crusoe adventurers in you. My cheapest expenses up to now. I got to this place with the idea to live like in a deserted island hut. I was not disappointed. I took the second cheapest bungalow. All in bamboo. No fridge or security box. Just a Firm bed and a 3 speed fan. Muskito net surrounds the bed and the jungle night sounds as well. Your next to restaurants and 7eleven so you won't go hungry or thirsty. You can reserve tickets for every activities. Rent a scooter is a must to go around and enjoy the island. Ask for Scoottie the red scooter. Is my fav. Family owners are super nice and eager to help with anything. Every bungalow has a make shift Hammack where you will find your self often relaxing. Or walk 8 min toward the beach from from any ressort entrance. The OK is not for The luxury seekers.more for the Indiana Jones type that wants to disconnect from it all.

Great location, close to the water. Staff helped up with our laundry and to rent a bike. Clean room, they provided beach towels. Crazy big lizards in the canal behind the hotel.

The room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice. PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. Ce resort est exceptionnel : les bungalows sont tout neufs, grands, luxueux, très confortables (la literie est de très bonne qualité), avec une agréable terrasse où admirer les couchers de soleil. La piscine est grande et belle, on peut y nager. Le jardin paysager est magnifique. Tout est construit et décoré avec un goût parfait, c'est un régal. C'est très calme et à 2 mn à pieds de la charmante Old Lanta Town, d'un 7-Eleven et d'un petit marché. Le personnel (deux frères et leurs parents) sont absolument adorables, aux petits soins, très disponibles et très efficaces. Nous avons pu louer un scooter grâce à eux et ils nous ont fait les réservations de bus et bateau pour la suite de notre voyage. Nous avons réellement adoré notre séjour d'une semaine là-bas. Nous recommandons à 200 % .

There are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

Um hotel bem simples, não possui elevador e há limpeza de apto somente se o hóspede solicitar na recepção. Sempre disponibilizam água em cada quarto. Bem simples, funcional e econômico. Há um café com bolachas pela manhã. Outro detalhe, pedem para que não entrem com o calçado no hotel.

Очень удачное расположение, есть бассейн и удобный выход на пляж. 7-eleven близко и много хороших кафешек. Персонал гостиницы не очень приветливый, за 4 дня в номере ни разу не убрались и не заменили полотенца. Подушки были не слишком удобные

+ Nah am Strand, viele Essensmöglichkeiten drum herum, süßes kleine Bungalow, Roller kann man gut und günstig mieten, aber.. - Matratzen sehr hart und durchgelegen, Frühstücksauswahl sehr mau, man kann aber auch außerhalb essen, wenn man nicht jeden Tag das Gleiche möchte :) und mit der Hygiene nehmen sie es nicht so genau. Wir sind nicht penibel! Wir wussten schon, dass es in Thailand oft nicht täglich geputzt wird (zumal wir das Zuhause auch nicht tun, sind wir mal ehrlich), doch leider wurde in den 7 Tagen gar nicht geputzt. Wir dachten das sei normal, am letzten Tag bevor wir abreisten haben wir aber gesehen, dass andere Zimmer gesäubert werden - wir haben dann nicht mehr nachgefragt. Sollte man aber demnach tun oder vermutlich das Schild raushängen :) ansonsten darf man nicht zu viel erwarten. Wir hatten ein Bungalow mit Klima, klein und schnuckelig und völlig ausreichend, wenn man nicht zu hohe Erwartungen hat. Die Klima war auch sehr laut, sind aber alles Punkte, über die man hinwegsehen kann. Wenn man es hochwertiger möchte, muss man bissl mehr Geld investieren oder ein anderes Hotel buchen; für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war es dennoch in Ordnung 👍

Charming place right on a beautiful clean beach that is not crowded and swimmable. The staff are lovely (thanks, Sue!) food surprisingly good (fish BBQ!) and you can get scooters right at the place. We actually checked in to the more luxury option on this beach and then moved here instead because it felt way more friendly. Don’t come here if you want to party, it’s at the far south of all the beaches and over some huge hills to the next gathering of shops (although there is laundry and a few restaurants and a basic shop nearby). And don’t expect satin sheets or huge rooms, it is what it is and that’s a bit rustic. But for what it is, and the price, you can’t do better.
