Last month, CcHUB Namibia, in collaboration with Basecamp Business Incubator, the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), and the London Venture Capital Network, hosted the Startup Ecosystem Mixer 2025. The event welcomed special guests from embassidy, It Takes A Village, and Scale-Up Namibia, bringing together founders, enablers, investors, and policymakers for an evening of networking, reflection, and future-focused discussions. Key milestones were celebrated, and a shared vision for 2025 was shaped—centered on synergy, opportunity, and innovation in Namibia’s startup ecosystem. We had the pleasure of hosting Alexander Morad, who delivered a powerful keynote speech on the theme AI or Die, focusing on the transformative potential of Generative AI. It was followed by a fireside chat moderated by Nrupesh Soni, where both AI experts explored the opportunities and challenges of generative AI for African Entrepreneurs.
